About

About Me

I was born in California, and moved to Michigan right before 7th grade. I got my engineering start through my high school's SME PRIME Classroom which is where I developed an engineering mindset and passion for building my ideas. During this time I competed in FIRST Robotics and started 3D printing, building FPV drones, and designing speakers which has supercharged my learning.

I will be graduating December 2026 with my BSME after 7 semesters at Michigan Tech; at that point I will also have completed 14/30 credits of my master's in mechanical engineering. Because I have the option to continue my master's degree, I am flexible for either a Q1 2027 start date or a Summer 2027 start date to enter the workforce.

Since starting at Michigan Tech I've had summer internships at Innotec, Kohler, and McLaren Engineering. My goal in pursuing 3 separate companies for my internships was to broaden my experience across multiple industries. These three companies have each built my foundation in manufacturing, new product development, and core engineering respectively.

As the chair of SME Student Chapter S077 my focus has been developing a niche 3D printing service, bringing high-temperature printers to the organization, and building out a makerspace.

As the chair of the Audio Engineering Society at MTU my focus has been fundraising for engineering projects, replacing aging equipment, and hosting our annual Winter Carnival snow speaker DJ event.

During my senior year I am working with professors Dr. Gan and Dr. Evans to improve ocean sonar methods for the Great Lakes. This project involves developing a parametric ultrasonic array for a compact, directional acoustic source.

Off the Clock

At Michigan Tech I've loved exploring the UP with my girlfriend, riding dirtbikes and snowmobiles, going to the gym, snowboarding, and learning how to play intramural hockey.
